Red 2022 Pathfinder in the sand

Over the past 20 years, Nissan has experienced a dazzling progression in Canada. While models like the Sentra, Stanza, Pathfinder and Maxima paved the way in the 80s and 90s, not to mention the sporty Z, other products like the Murano, Rogue, Qashqai and Altima have now taken over.

Not to mention the fact that many of the vehicles that were famous 30 years ago are still offered by the brand. In fact, Nissan offers one of the most diverse portfolios in the industry. That's why their models are so popular with consumers.

Below are the ones most popular with the public. By taking a brief tour of these Nissan products, you'll quickly understand why. Alma Nissan, your dealer in Lac-Saint-Jean near Saint-Bruno, invites you to discover its vast inventory of new Nissan vehicles, such as the Rogue of the Year or the 2020 Nissan Rogue at very attractive prices. See also our pre-owned Nissan vehicles which will please everyone!

The Rogue

The Nissan Rogue compact SUV is Nissan's most popular model. This is partly due to the fact that it operates in the most popular segment of the industry, but mostly because of the many qualities it has to offer.

This year, these features are more evident than ever, as a new generation has been introduced last fall. This one has a really eye-catching design, certainly more interesting than those offered by Honda (CR-V), Toyota (RAV4) and Ford (Escape), for example.

Mechanically, the Rogue offers a perfect balance between performance and fuel economy. In fact, the 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine delivers 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, but also an average of 7 L/100 km on the highway. This is exceptional for this size of vehicle.

Behind the wheel, balance also dominates, while comfort is matched only by the SUV's solid and reassuring handling. Add to that the versatility offered by a 2098L cargo volume which makes it one of the most generous in its class.

Qashqai

The Nissan Qashqai is also a consumer favourite, and once again, there are many compelling reasons why. Operating in the sub-compact SUV category, it offers a spacious interior and an equally spacious cargo area. Its driving experience is also very comfortable, and in this respect, it outshines competitors like the HR-V (Honda), the C-HR (Toyota) and the CX-3 (Mazda).

And perhaps the most appealing thing about the Qashqai is its quality/price ratio. No matter which version you choose, the customer comes out a winner.

Pathfinder

The Nissan Pathfinder SUV is a legend within the Nissan family. It went through a bit of a rough patch at the turn of the 2010 decade, when all of its style vehicles (ladder chassis, V8 engine) were losing feathers. However, Nissan cleverly reinvented it for 2013 and it has been incredibly successful ever since. The best news is that the company has just improved it, and a new generation is about to hit the road. This new generation is going to do it all over again, but more importantly, it's got a much more aggressive style that's in line with the model's primary purpose: to discover new off-road trails.

Altima

Finally, our tour of popular Nissan products would not be complete without a look at the Nissan Altima sedan. The Altima has been one of the stars of the family since 1993, the year it replaced the Stanza in the lineup.

Comfortable, spacious and fun to drive, it offers everything anyone in search of a great car wants. And since its 2019 redesign, it's even offered with all-wheel drive, giving it a clear advantage over rivals like the Honda Accord, Chevrolet Malibu and Mazda6.

Behind the wheel, the 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque of its 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine allow for dynamic driving, combined with a truly incredible fuel economy rating of 6.5 L/100 km on the highway.

Yet, that's just a sample of what awaits you at your Alma Nissan dealer in Lac-Saint-Jean: we're waiting for you!
